“Plattin Creek Excavating … hired my firm in 2014 to augment and build the safety and health program to benefit company employees. We continue to work with ownership and management to assist with several safety services that include training and educating the workforce on a regular basis (including daily Toolbox Safety Talks), establishing a program for hazard identification and correction (FLRA’s), instituting and enforcing company policies and compliance procedures that outlines working protocols for employees. [We] assist with daily job site visits that include a comprehensive audit based on the company’s scope of work. This service includes coaching of employees … and if an incident occurs … we can assist with investigation and root cause analysis reporting.
Plattin Creek Excavating is a member in good standing with the SITE Improvement Association, where they have been a member of the SITE/OSHA Partnership Program led by the St. Louis Area OSHA office. This program requires members to place an emphasis on the reduction of injuries and illnesses with a focus on falls, trenching/excavations, electrocutions and struck-by/caught-between hazards.
Plattin Creek Excavating’s reputation by many industry peers is viewed favorably as a company that is reliable with consistent, quality work without sacrificing safety.
Safety in the workplace, especially in construction, does not function without the commitment of ownership and executive management which has been our experience with Plattin Creek Excavating.”
