We continue to work with ownership and management to assist with several safety services that include training and educating the workforce on a regular basis (including daily Toolbox Safety Talks), establishing a program for hazard identification and correction (FLRA’s), instituting and enforcing company policies and compliance procedures that outlines working protocols for employees. [We] assist with daily job site visits that include a comprehensive audit based on the company’s scope of work. This service includes coaching of employees … and if an incident occurs … we can assist with investigation and root cause analysis reporting.

Plattin Creek Excavating is a member in good standing with the SITE Improvement Association, where they have been a member of the SITE/OSHA Partnership Program led by the St. Louis Area OSHA office. This program requires members to place an emphasis on the reduction of injuries and illnesses with a focus on falls, trenching/excavations, electrocutions and struck-by/caught-between hazards.
